A pair of school kids get kidnapped from an arcade, one of them escapes the trunk where she’s being held, then stalks around the house trying to free the other. There’s probably 10 lines of dialogue in the whole film, and the whole thing is very tense. The lead actress is a 13 year old girl who outsmarts the kidnapper several times in her quest to free her friend, and does a great job at still being believable while doing so.
There’s not much to this one, just a suspenseful atmosphere and some good scary violence to break it up, but it does a great job at doing so while being almost completely bereft of words. There’s also nothing I can really complain about other than the last few minutes (car chase) being somewhat unrealistic compared to the rest of it.
